Hours of Work:

37h/week
8:00-16:30 Monday to Thursday (30mins lunch break, 12:00-12:30)
8:00-13:00 Friday (no lunch break)

Homeworking:

This role is not part of hybrid working and  is subject to a  6 month probation period.

Roxel is an Anglo-French Company that designs, develops and manufactures a range of solid propellant rocket motors for use in tactical missiles. Its operations are spread across several sites in the UK and France and it has an annual turnover of about £100M and nearly 700 staff, with 250+ in the UK.

 

The UK operations are located at Summerfield near Kidderminster and it is here we are excited to offer a Training opportunity for a ERP analyst.

 

Reporting to the IT Manager, we are looking for candidates who have have left university in the last few years, for the opportunity of training to be an ERP Analyst.  The successful candidate will be given a training plan to train to learn the following:

Examine the business structure to understand how it operates and its aims

Document Business Requirements

Process Improvements

Conduct training workshops to users on the current business systems.

Business system application administration

Work with 3rd party support to solve issues and roll out improvements/updates to the business systems

The role will work across functional departments to promote the use of the business systems

  • Integration of the Business Systems
  • -Automation
  • -Knowledge of ERP & Finance systems
  • -Reporting writing using SQL Reporting Services and Power BI

Responsibilities

The Main responsibilities of the role are:

  • Work with the IT Manager and Senior Business Systems Analyst to drive improvements across the existing suite of Business Systems.
  • Support ERP & Finance applications
  • Reporting writing using SQL Reporting Services and Power BI
  • Project implementation and management

Ideal caniddates would have experience in the following:

Databases and an understanding of the theory.

Understanding of continous improvement

Qualifications

Business or Computer related Degree, or any related qualifications to the job description.
