ROXEL UK AT THE PARIS AIRSHOW
Roxel at the Paris Airshow
Roxel Group attended the Paris Airshow at Le Bourget between 19th and 23rd June 2023. Andy Munt from Roxel UK joined the team at the event, meeting customers and suppliers as well as engaging with industrial stakeholders.
The Paris Airshow is organised by the French aerospace industry’s primary representative body, the “Groupement des industries françaises aéronautiques et spatiales” (GIFAS), and is the largest air show and aerospace-industry exhibition event in the world, measured by the number of exhibitors and size of exhibition space. The UK’s Farnborough Air Show is second in size. The 2023 show was the first time this biennial event has been held since the COVID-19 pandemic which resulted in the 2021 show being cancelled.
Andy Munt, Head of Sales and Marketing at Roxel UK said “The Paris Airshow was a hive of activity. As well as providing a forum for Roxel to meet existing customers and suppliers, it was also a platform for us to engage with industry stakeholders who may offer future business opportunities. It was another great event for the Roxel team, and we look forward to maturing some early engagements into developed relationships.”
Principal delegations that visited Roxel included MBDA and Thales, who were marketing their own portfolios of products and services. Roxel also hosted representatives from France’s equivalent of the Ministry of Defence: the“Direction Générale de l’Armement” or DGA.
Other visitors to the Roxel stand included raw material suppliers; a specialist laboratory services provider and a representative from GE’s 3D additive manufacturing organisation. All contact details from these suppliers have been provided back to Roxel UK Teams, with the aim of future collaborations.
The next opportunity for Roxel Group to showcase their products and services will be the Defence & Security Equipment International (DESi) Exhibition in London in September. Once again Roxel UK and Roxel Group will be hosting both customers and suppliers with opportunities to discuss future contracts as well as develop business relationships.
