Three of Roxel graduates

Roxel UK are pleased to welcome three new graduates to their Summerfield site near Kidderminster. The new Graduate Scheme 2023 which has been developed in partnership with SAFRAN UK, is part of Roxel’s expansion plans as Europe’s leading supplier of tactical propulsion systems.

The graduates in engineering, sales and marketing, and programmes, have joined the expanding team at Roxel UK in a two-year programme, providing a unique and exciting opportunity to master both technical and leadership skills. The selection process is part of a UK wide recruitment initiative with SAFRAN, a leading international high-technology group within the aerospace and defence industry.

Adrian Banks, Managing Director for Roxel UK explains, “Our new Graduate Scheme with SAFRAN is an important part of our expansion strategy as it gives the next generation an opportunity to not only build a career within the organisation but to have a chance to shape and influence where it goes next. It’s a great time to join the team at Summerfield and be part of our continued success”.

Kate Yarranton, HR Advisor for Roxel UK, coordinates the new Graduate Scheme and says “We were delighted with the number of applicants for our 2023 cohort. After a structured selection process which started at the end of 2022, we welcome our new recruits, who officially start with us in September. We are also pleased to announce that applications are now open for our 2024 cohort of graduates and I’m sure the programme will continue to grow and excel.”

Roxel UK is currently celebrating their 20th year in business and was founded when Royal Ordnance Rocket Motors (Division of BAE) merged with Celerg in France 2003, with the business firmly based at their Worcestershire site since World War II, which has a unique part in history.
