My job

In my Role at Roxel I am responsible to ensuring all site facilities and plant is fully operational and most importantly safe for its intended use. I manage a dedicated and highly skilled team to do this. This team complete all reactive and planned maintenance activities utilizing the latest in asset reliability techniques.

My background

I completed an electrical engineering apprenticeship in the Royal Air Force where I spent 11 years supporting UK Military operations at home and overseas. Since then I have built experience managing maintenance teams in the Aerospace and Automotive sectors.

My motivations

Working for Roxel is technically very difficult due to the highly technical plant and controlled facilities required to manufacture rocket motors. Personally, I find this challenge extremely rewarding. The large scope of responsibilities from plant and building safety to Total Preventative Maintenance ensure that two days are rarely the same.

Hi, We employ apprentices, mainly in Engineering and Business Support functions as they play a key role in our talent development strategy for the future. We aim to recruit 2 apprentices per year with the purpose of offering permanent employment at the end of the apprenticeship programme.
