Hours of Work:

07.30-15.30 Monday to Thursday (30mns lunch break)
07.30-14.30 Friday (no lunch break)

Roxel is an Anglo-French company that designs, develops and manufactures solid propellant rocket motors for use in tactical missiles. Its operations are spread across several sites in the UK and France and it has an annual turnover of about £130M and nearly 700 staff.


The UK operations are entirely based at Summerfield, Kidderminster, where we have a vacancy for a permanent Process Operative to work in Hardware Operations.


• Carry out daily activites in accordance with plans, and as directed by the Cell Leader or Cell Manager
• Manufacturing, producing, assembling and finishing products in accordance with approved methods of manufacture
• Conducting taks in line with standards, procedure and manuals, and taking personal responsibility to ensure processes are followed
• Ensure work stations and environment are always in a ‘fit for purpose’ state, meaning clean, safe and maintained
• Escalating equipment and facility faults to cell supervision.
• Responsible to ensure their own training is updated and maintained to enable the operative to perform the duties required and requested by the Cell Leader or Manager
• Flexibility across skills and responsibilities expected in line with business needs
• Maintain S5 standards within production cell
• Notify cell leader of any issues with cell-based consumables, record keeping and data accuracy on a daily basis
• Take an active part in improvement projects as required by the department
• Involvement in meetings including planning, risks assessments, methods and team briefs

• The succesful candidate should have as a minimum GCSE Maths and English (level C or 5) or equivalent
• Manufacturing industry experience ideal and subject matter knowledge beneficial
